Orthodontic Retainers
Retainers are an important part of orthodontic treatment. It is provided once treatment is completed. We recommend the following steps to ensure to ensure good stable results.
- After alignment of teeth, Dr. Cindy recommends that you wear your retainers full-time for 3 months and then nights only (8-10hours).
- Retainers must be removed when eating (and placed in the case).
- Be sure to followup on your retainer visits with Dr. Cindy.
- Clean the retainers thoroughly daily with a toothbrush. Use warm or cold water, not hot water.
