Dr. Katherine (Kay) Bracy
Dr. Bracy cares for children from their first tooth through their teens. As a certified lactation counselor, she also leads our tongue- and lip-tie care for babies and older children.
In her words
"I have never thought of children as small adults, but rather as beings with their own desires and needs, so full of potential."
Early in her career, Dr. Bracy grew frustrated with the idea that a child's dental future is simply inherited — that if a parent had "bad" teeth or needed braces, the child would too. She wanted to give families tools to actively change that. Becoming a mother deepened the idea: she saw how much a good night's sleep and healthy daily habits shape a child's growth, and she wanted to share that with every family she treats.
She has completed specialized training in ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) and frenectomy, as well as multiple courses in pediatric sleep and airway, so she can care for both a child's teeth and their overall well-being.
With extensive additional training and coursework in early orthodontics, Dr. Bracy also provides early interceptive orthodontic treatment for growing children.
